DON’T TRY HARDER

YOU’D BE AWARE OF HOW MUCH THINGS START TO FALL INTO PLACE WHEN YOU STOP FIGHTING WITH YOURSELF. You fight with yourself because you are DISSATISFIED with yourself. Maybe not just dissatisfied. Maybe BITTER ANGRY. Or worse… maybe you HATE yourself. When you feel this way about yourself, you are constantly PUNISHING yourself. You believe you are not BEAUTIFUL enough. Not SMART enough and THIN enough. Not SUCCESSFUL enough and SPECIAL enough. Because you SUBCONSCIOUSLY feel this way about yourself, you believe everything will be okay if you just try HARDER. If you just WORK harder and put even more PRESSURE on yourself. BE HARDER with yourself. And ANGIER. But all of this causes a VIOLENT CYCLE. The harder you try, the more you reinforce the thought that you are NOT GOOD ENOUGH… and then you try EVEN harder. And so SNOWBALL the feeling of “never good enough”.
It STOPS here, says the LORD. I LOVE you… JUST AS YOU ARE… unconditionally. I have already BORN your GUILT and punishment. LOVE yourself unconditionally… because I AM. I build you up and inspire you. I encourage and heal you. I speak NICELY to you… bringing out the BEST in you. RECEIVE My UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for you right now. Your life will NEVER be the same after that.

We should love all people, but that doesn’t mean we are their VICTIMS. A person can only ‘abuse’ you if you ALLOW it. You can DRAW a LINE and STOP it in JESUS’ Name. You are MARKED for life and abundance.

Someone to SPOIL and just bless. A deep need to make a DIFFERENCE… even if it is only in ONE person’s life. Every person is CREATED to give love, and to be LOVED. A desire to belong… and someone to feel SAFE with. A special person who WAITS for you and misses you. That ONE person to share your HEARTache and joy with. Someone where you can dare to let down your BARS and just be your FRAGILE self. Someone to cherish and COMFORT. To encourage and inspire. Heavenly FATHER, I pray now for every person who does not have this SPECIAL person. Will You please do a GREAT MIRACLE for each one to PROVIDE this special person. Also show each one who he or she can be that special person for. It is You who makes the RIGHT people’s PATHS cross. Godly CONNECTIONS. Covenant relationships.
