I realize what prayer is.

Ok let's just throw all this crap out the window.

Let's say you can ask Mary to pray to God for you. Why? lol
Praying to him directly would be the EXACT same thing.

You're right. Why ask anyone to pray for you? We do it for comfort and empowerment. There is power in prayer and when we join together bringing our petitions to God (which is what praying to Mary is), our prayers become empowered and unified.

LOLLLLLLLL

So the entire belief is because of Mary's faith in her son?

MY MOM WOULD SAY THAT!
Any good mother would say that.

LOLLLLLLLLLLL

you laugh but its the same thing indeed and show the humanity of Jesus and the relation with his mom who now became the spiritual mom of all humanity according with what Jesus stated in: John, here is your mom, Mary, here is your son.

For my own curiosity, beside the teaching of your friend Copeland, what kind of Bible study did you get ? Have you been to University in theology or something similar ? Dont be offended but just asking.. Because so far the understanding of the Bible you have showed here is as awful as your Hallelujah Cover showed in your profile.. ;)

It was wrong to laugh at you, I apologize for that.

I get Word from the bible, preachers, and God. Just like anyone else on the planet.

Copeland has a massive revelation of the Word of God though. But I listen to several others including Bill Winston, Jerry Savelle, Jesse Duplantis, and Creflo Dollar.

I've never heard him say a bad word and neither has my Mom or Dad and they have been listening to him for 10 years or so now. Don't go speaking against Copeland.
There are several preachers in my area that I recognized said something wrong. But they are learning just like you or me. No one has the infinite knowledge of the Word except God himself.

There is always something new to learn whether you went to bible theology or not. And by the way bible theology sounds terrbile and I wouldn't go even if I could. Theology is theory and i don't know about you but my God is not a theology and neither is the Bible.

And how can you insult my knowledge of the Word when your belief is based off of something that isn't even in the bible?

I ask people to pray for me of course. But Mary is in heaven now, she doesn't pray to God for me. I would sincerely like to see scripture backing these beliefs, until I do. It's false.

I would like to see scripture saying it isn't true. Until then, it's open for interpretation.

So I guess that means we're adding to what the scriptures say now?

The scripture doesn't say to pray through my computer. I guess that means it's okay.
It also doesn't say anything about asking my guitar to pray for me. I guess that'll be good for me too.
Maybe my dog can pray for me after he dies and goes to heaven.. yeahhhh that would be great.

Revelations 22:19
King James Bible
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Deuteronomy 4:2
King James 2000 Bible
You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

I'll make sure to make a note. "anything the bible doesn't say is okay, go ahead and assume it's okay to do rather than asking God if it's okay."

The New Testament also doesn't mention musical instruments during worship. I sure hope you don't worship to instruments in your church...

What does it having not been in the New testament have to do with anything?
It's in the Old Testament.
And worship means to worship the Lord. The Word clearly states worship the Lord with intruments and song. It doesn't matter iif it's in New Testament or not lol

I would just like to see one scripture reference off of all these random assumtions about praying through Mary. But no, not a single reference in the bible about praying THROUGH or asking angels or dead people to pray for you. Not one.

I'm speaking of the New Testament since that is the new law we are under. Why are you bringing in the Old Testament?

Because worshiping the Lord was never made a law?

If I thought like that, Then I would just disreguard the entire Old Testament, which would be foolish.

And this

Matthew 5:18
New International Version (©1984)
I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

So why do you disregard some and not all? The Old Testament commands that we kill homosexuals and adulterers. Have you done any of that lately?
