Yes, I know faith without works is dead.
Thank you for bringing that up.

Why do you think you have to go through Mary to have your prayers come true?
Praying to Mary doesn't mean your prayers will be answered. Infact if you disbelieve and don't have faith your prayers won't even be heard by heaven at all.

Just as long as your a Christian and you believe and have faith, God will answer your prayers. There is no need to pray through Mary.

Mary has no more favor than you or me..
Like I've said a thousand times "God is no respector of persons."
Mary has no more grace from God or favor from God than you or me can have. Pray with faith, believe and receive.

All this religion likes to pile all these rules and regulations on that you don't need and God never said to do.

We are encouraged to pray for one another, and to confess our sins to one another.

Quote
James 5:16
New International Version (NIV)
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Quote
Colossians 1:9-14
New International Version (NIV)
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[a] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[b] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Parying Mary its not a need, its an option and I always claim this. Its also a big tradition in catholic that Mary is a powerful intercessor to her son Jesus. Because she is her mother and given to us when Jesus was dying on the cross, we believe that through her, we obtain God's favor. Yes, praying Jesus directly does give the same but read the wedding of Cana. They were out of wine and asked jesus to do something but he replied: my time is not yet to come. They went to Mary who replied: do whatever he will ask you to do.. she went to Jesus who decide to performed the first public miracle in his life indicating that Praying Mary can/will help you to obtain Graces probably quicker than if you ask Jesus directly.

That religious talk is 100% FALSE.
Mary has no more favor than you or me.

And why would you think praying through Mary would get it faster? LOL that's utterly ludicrious.

Mark 11:24
New King James Version (NKJV)
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

It can't get any faster than that.

John 14:13
New King James Version (NKJV)
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Whatever you ask in JESUS name. He doesn't say "Pray through Mary and in my name and maybe you'll get what you pray for faster." lol

There is nothing in the Word of God that says you get your prayers faster praying through ay person. It also states nothing about the option to pray through people.
Why would you believe something the Word doesn't state?

Not exactly sure why you stated this. But of course I agree, always have.

Just read the wedding in Cana and you wil have your awnser.
As for other quotes refer to my post #69, there are plenty regarding Mary mother of God and the special link to her Son Jesus.

"And why would you think praying through Mary would get it faster? LOL that's utterly ludicrious."
Of course it would sound ridiculous if you never experience it before. Its not magical but through out 2000 years of christinanity, there are tons of testimonies about it. Its not because your buddy Copeland dont refer to Mary that you have to say its riduculous bro ;)

I wrote that in reference to Mary praying for individuals. Again, Mary is simply an intercessor (no different than your friends or family praying for you). We are encouraged to let other people pray for us.

Mary's dead lol

Angels in heaven do not pray for you. People on Earth do.

Christians do not believe in death.

Also.. don't be too sure about what Angels do and don't do...

Matthew 18
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

If the Word says it. Angels do it. If it doesn't, they don't.

Simple.

And that verse is talking about how The Lord has angels protecting and watching over children.

So angels are intercessors for them correct? So obviously "the dead" hear us.

The dead aren't angels..

By no means are angels dead people.

Angels were never mortals or humans, God made them in the beginning.
