God gave us the ability to choose to love him or neglect him. If you choose to neglect Christ, it is not your parents fault. Especially since they tried.

People can't "choose" what they love and people can't "choose" to believe in something. You can force yourself to go to church, but you can't force yourself to enjoy it. It's not a matter of will.

I did lose trust in my mom for a little bit than forgave her. But the church on the other hand, I held higher expectations because of the whole vows thing that priests and others alike have to do.

I can't force myself to go because I think religion is just plain uninteresting, i guess I'm just not 'wired' in a way religious people are.
