I agree wih you fully.
Many people who do call themselves Christians but do not act like a Christian, is not truly a Christian
However,
People that may not be a Christian, but "act" in a way a Christian would, doing good for the pure Essenes of doing good
And treating others with respect, etc. is really a Christian
IMO, religion is a way, to channel your expressions and praise, and guide you in a right path
It isn't the have all ends all

But, Indeed. To channel one's thoughts and actions. You must have a medium or a motive. Religion being one of the great magnitude's of those. The holy spirit guides us toward the right path. Even if we may drift away and walk in darkness it still has a way of pulling you back. Something truly beautiful. Wow I
