The picture of Jesus is the worldly view of Jesus. He may not have looked like that exactly but based on the shape of the skull because of where he was born the Scientists and Researchers can work out that Jesus may have looked something very similar to the face that they have put on him.

Where did they find his skull?!?!?!

They didn't. They don't even know whether or not they've found his tomb.

More evidence exists concluding that Jesus Christ lived on this Earth, as opposed to Alexander The Great.. blah blah blah, read a book scrub.

I think they found his bloody robes or something.

One research group recently found that the Shroud of Turin could not have been created using artificial UV light and so they concluded that it was almost certainly not a forgery.

In order to come to this conclusion, however, they disregarded previous research which proved that the Shroud of Turin could have been created using dyes and materials available during the time period when it was "discovered".

So basically, they may have found Jesus's burial shroud, but it could have also been a forgery.

This is not a thread debating the existence or "evidence" that Jesus was in fact real. Please stay on topic.

Not everyone "assumes" Jesus was white. Most churches have a "white" Jesus because majority of the population is white. However, if you go to a church in Africa, you would find it popular to have a more tanned image of Jesus, or a black Jesus. His true complexion is not known. Based on his birthplace he was most likely "tanned" just like a lot of middle eastern people are.

He probably looked like most Middle Eastern people do today. He's depicted as white in the US and in Europe because of the Catholic Church in Europe. That's my theory, anyway.
