But I've alrdy heard my mixes without reverb and they sound very dead lol

Did you lower the volume on the vocals some? (It's not bad, just curious if that was one of the major changes you made)

I actually compressed it more and raised the volume. But I also raised the volume and made some things more noticable on all the tracks.

I pretty much re-compressed and re-EQ'd everything. And lowered the reverb by ALOT on the guitar and vocals.

I just took the time with every track to turn every nob I could to see if It would make it better. I re-recorded the tamborine cuz I couldn't get it to sound good, then I put reverb on it so it wouldn't be so sharp and noticable in the mix, instead it would kinda melt in with it.
