god wants you to worship him on the Sabbath day but you dont have to go to church bi-weekly just follow him as your lord and savior, just have a really strong relationship with the lord

Exactly, for example, Satan's ideal world would be a world of order, people going to work, doing their thing, sinning in their spare time.

Satan would want LOTS of Churches.

But just none preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I Am for one a true christian and a strong believer and A Bi-weekly church goer myself. Some people who claim to be Christians, don't understand that Christian means : "Christ-like". Mean you try to be as much like Christ as possible, without claiming to be a god or worshiping yourself or expect others to worship oneself. To be closer to got and be more Christ-like Think this every day: WWJD?

At the old saying WWJD. The thing is with Jesus, he is superhuman. He has the ability to control the weather and can shut down any people to challenge him with difficult questions like the Pharisees.

The saying SHOULD be: What would Jesus HAVE US do?

My 2 cents: I think if you want to become more Christ-like you need to also consider WDJD. (What did Jesus do?) The Gospel that causes us to repent and believe, is the Gospel that also transforms into the image of Christ.

"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Cor 3:18

I think WWJD can be unhealthy, as it can cause us to trust ourselves and what we can 'do for Jesus', more than we trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ on our behalf.

Gotcha. Still a difference though. Maybe not a big deal, but the one causes us to look at the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus(WDJD). The other causes us to look at oursleves(WWJHUD). Which one is closer to the Gospel? WDJD imo. Anyways, they're both just acronyms, lol. Peace.

Well there does come a time when we do need to look at ourselves obviously.

You said WDJD, it is WWJD.

With WWJD scenario, yes we should follow his example but Jesus is superhuman. He had the ability to control the weather and walk on water. There is no way humans could do that.

WWJHUD seems to be more... achievable if you know what I mean.

Yay for ignorance.

Religion is essentially based on belief. No two people believe exactly the same things. No two people experience religion the same way. You aren't any more "true" than any other Christian.

It should be " what DID Jesus do?"

Well he healed the sick, calmed the storm, fed the 5000, told parable stories, turned over the table in the temple, he died on the cross for our sins.

How does that help whether or not I should do something a certain way or another way?

Should be on motivation and that the fact is he "still did that" and it wasn't a story. The fact that he did that is enough motivation for me to like jesus, I really don't see your question.
