If you we're truly a Christian then you would understand that God finds you we're you are and he just hasn't opened the non believers eyes to his wonders. You shouldn't judge we all have our freedom of free will.
I would also like to add Christ asks us to pick up our cross daily and with materialistic world with greedy possessions and sin in our culture, It's hard for a non believer to just give up everything because you can't serve two masters. I found God when I was in need of him the most when the possessions of this world took over my wants and needs then he showed me the light by me simply opening up the word and actually reading it. People will hate what they do not know and what they haven't been shown. We as people in Christs imagine need to just stand firm in our belief and reflect him. Be positive and worry about yourself and your relationship with God then everyone else.

Now if we said, god has shown himself to me in a personal expirence; this is vaguely agreed upon by people of faith, but also there are a LOT of people this doesnt happen to, not just athiests but also some people of faith just believe it and never have such an expirence.
