There are many mistakes in society, and sorry about this but your Dad views Christianity and is wrong, liveing a almost sinless life WILL NOT get you into heaven, only a relationship with Jesus Christ and the belief he died on the cross for you sins and hes God's son, and as well as the acceptence that hes your savior. That is what gets you into heaven, no matter what you did, or what you will do.
But think about it, if you truly have a relationship with Jesus you are goign to do good works and share his word with people you know.

Only thing I disagree on is the whole "I HATE Religion" part. I do not hate religion. I hate what it is becoming and I hate how corrupt it is getting. I go to an interdenominational church where they preach strictly from the Bible and we praise. I find it funny how a lot of churches will frown upon you reading the Bible yourself and Pastors will often get mad when you question the faith of that religion. But even I do not go to church every Sunday, Bible study every Wednesday, nor do I participate in a lot of church activities. With that said that does not mean I HATE religion. I love religion. And I love studying it, talking to God, and doing the best I can.
