Even though es only mentioned twice in the bible, I've started to read why did God take him up to heaven?

Read the passage...

"When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."

That doesn't mean he was in Heaven. I've been walking with God for 3.5 years.

What an amazing post friend. This is very very true. It also says Noah walked with God.

I assume Heaven is where he went when he was "taken away"; remember Elijah was "taken up to heaven in a whirlwind" (2 Kings ch. 2)
for the others like Noah, Job, Moses, etc, it says they died

I have come to a conclusion that neither Enoch nor Elijah went to heaven. I'm assuming people was not fond of heaven so god " transported " him to a different location to put him out of dangers way. And yes by God took him it means He died. I also don't believe we go to heaven or he'll when we die. Only do we when the great judgement happens

Reference : No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man.

lol?....

obvious troll is obvious

1 Corinthians 15:54-57
Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

"He that believes on me has everlasting life".- Jesus.. (Jn. 6:47)

"This is eternal life; that they may know Thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent:. -- Jesus (Jn. 17:3)

"This is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life in in His Son".... (I Jn. 5:11)

) "These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life"... (I Jn. 5:13

maybe you have never heard of a little thing called the 1st resurrection , where those who were beheaded for their witness to jesus , and the word of god , didnt worship the beast , etc , get to live with christ for a thousand years ( rev 20 / 4 )
maybe you never read rev 20 / 5 ( but the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished )

there are many places in the bible that attest to the fact that when u die , you dont get judged , you dont go to heaven or hell
its as if u are asleep
and u wont wake up , until everyone is woken up ( unless you are part of the 1st resurrection ) , and everyone is judged by god ( to either be thrown into the lake of fire , or accepted into the new jerusalem )

or maybe you simply didnt understand what i was responding to ( wowzers statement that he beleives we dont go to heaven when we die )
and my response that no thinking is really required about this , as the bible is clear that when u die , nothing happens , and u have to wait until the appointed time
