as for the porn thing...to put it mildly, you made the right choice. people who are involved with that are not doing themselves any favors. it's like they are in a burning house and they decided to fling gasoline around.

i'm not sure how many churches are in the area you live. you could consider going to more than one if it's not meeting your needs, or at the very least ask the church leadership about the idea of finding another youth pastor.

the idea of finding new friends with similar priorities is a good one.

avoiding society is probably not in the job desccription for most christians. you wouldn't light a candle just to put a bowl over it. it all about the mindset...when you are out in the "world," is it your role to blend in seamlessly with it?

or is it your role to be a light to others? it's not easy, nor is it painless. it involves sacrifice.

Is smoking weed a sin? Although the Bible does not address marijuana directly, it does discuss other mind-altering drugs. Specifically, the Bible addresses the use of drugs in the book of Galatians:

Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Smoking weed brings you closer to God.

I like smoking weed, but there are point's in the bible that tell us not to alter are mind's smoking "weed" alter's your mind and reality "getting high" therefore getting high would be a sin ?

Genesis 1:12

that is not necessarily the conclusion of being a sinner. there is another way.
