first of all dont act like i am an idiot. The bible has been released in various forms. King james, NIV. every time the words change a little. Think it is possible the words have been changed to reflect their interpretation of what it means????? religion is flawed because man is flawed. I dont believe jesus said everyone who doesnt believe in him is going to burn in hell. That would mean peopel in remote villages would burn cause they dont know any missionaries??????

So, did Jesus lie?

People always assume it is onyl the people that wrote the bible.

God wrote the bible in all reality. God put these thoughts and words in their head and in their mouth.

As the bible says, "Nothing is impossible with God". So then why is it not possible that God kept the form of the bible in its basic meaning and never changed what it really meant overall?

God has guided the bible through all its 6,000 years or so, and kept track and made sure it was protected and never faded and never lost track of it's meaning.
At least that's what I believe. How else could a book this old be the same as when it was written? God is the answer.

Let's assume your theory that God implanted the words into the people's minds.
God also gives people free will, therefor they could write whatever they wanted. They could write the exact opposite of what he told them.

Also, lol at you thinking the bible is the same as when it was written. lrn2research

God didn't plant the words in the minds of the wicked. He gave his word to those that seeked him and persued him.

And I realize the Bible isn't exactly the same. I was saying the bible has the same foundation. The words may differ but for the most part it still means the same thing.

The overall message is still the same. For it to be the exact same, then you would have to learn the languages of Hebrew/Greek.

Well, I think the problem is that a lot of what is written in the Bible is stories, and metaphors, and what not. When people try to interpret these stories literally, that's when things get dicey. You start getting quacks that think all homosexuals are going to hell, or all ______ (fill in the blank with anything) are wrong. Then you got people who literally donate 10% of their earnings to the church, and then you got Catholics...

In all honesty, if you are a Christian then you should be bound by no rules, because you know that your belief in God redeems you from all. This isn't to give you a free pass in life to do whatever you want of course for the belief in a "good" God will surely make an imprint on your life to try to do what is "good".
