Yep, I agree too. For some reason its often unbelievers mis-using this verse.

I think you're just looking at it wrong. We (human beings) didn't create ourselves and god just happened by and told us we need to do these things or else. HE created us, and then laid down principles which we should live by. He does not force us to anything. If you feel as if he is pressuring you to do something you don't want to do, then maybe you are just more concerned with the happiness of this life and and not of the one hereafter. That's just what I think anyway, and trust me I'm not perfect. The past few years I have been living life according to my own will and I know that if I were to die right now, I would go to hell. This forum has inspired me to start going to church and do the things I need to do.
