No,
You seem to be counterpointing for sake of argument, not understanding what I said and it is a distracting to the needs and desires of the OP.
You have a new topic button and I have a PM box if you wish to continue the discussion.
I'd make a post like this if I made a post bashing doctors for doing their jobs correctly and someone asked what I was thinking too.......
How did I not understand what you said?
You're flat out saying you know more than doctors about medicine and that they're jumping to conclusions.
They're treating him as if he has an autoimmune disorder not because it's the most likely but because it's a possibility and ignoring that possibility could cause truly devastating results.
You're saying you expect the doctors to say "well he probably has the flu or something so we're going to ignore the fact that he might have a deadly disorder until tests confirm it".
This is why doctors are trained for so long because it's not as simple as googling your symptoms.
If you can use a non harmful treatment to treat an unconfirmed potentially deadly illness you do it instead of hoping they to have the flu.
People like you make doctors jobs difficult and cause senseless death by doubting their expert judgment.
Edit ps: OP I hope your brother has nothing serious and recovers fully I'm not religious and I don't pray but I'm glad his doctors are treating his illness seriously instead of just saying it's probably the flu.
