I searched the Bible last night looking for scripture related to near death experiences.  Only thing I found was when Paul spoke of a man, perhaps himself, caught up to the third heaven caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter (2 Corinthians 12:2-3). This may have been a NDE, but "even if it was" Paul also indicates it is not lawful for a man to utter what he saw and heard. Lazarus was not near-death, but actually dead for four days (John 11:39). The scriptures are absolutely silent about what Lazarus may have seen or heard on the other side. Perhaps God did not intend for us to know more.

Based on this, my posistion as stated above still stands.

Glad we finally agree on something.

Not clicking link. <3

I've ran into a few, who have experienced this.

Many are given something specific to share and it lines up with God's Love and Scripture. You would find it something obvious if you knew Him, Scripture and it wasn't for you.

WhirlingDervish,

Trust me, I gave the boy's story all the benifit of the doubt. If you can show me in scripture where "it lines up with God's Love and Scriputre" I hope you will show it to me.

YHWH never gave animals souls. Why would the boy have seen animals?

when Isaiah is brought before gods throne in chapter 6 he tells us all about it.

I'm neutral on the issue, i think it is possible.

I said I wasn't clicking (reading) it. I was referring to others' experiences.

I find news outlets, rarely get even a small portion of earthy events correct so I can't fathom the headache of cliff diving, into what is likely and emotionally wide but shallow pool they devised.

That's my opinionated experience so take it as such. <3

-----

I've only seen Scripture of plant life but wouldn't count out some animals. ;)

It doesn't matter at all if you believe that, unless you are moving one there.

"theres a lot of colors a lot of people and a lot of animals"

You heard it here first, heaven is a zoo.

I don't mean to offend anyone but this child clearly never went to heaven. I was genuinely confused as to why the parents would go along with this until they mentioned the book then I was like oh, moneys involved.

Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you have to believe every time someone claims they met Jesus or went to heaven.

Or the multiple books on having gone to hell.
Its completely unbiblical.
