I understand why you said that to Kaiote but why me?

God doesn't change anyone we change ourselves.

Don't get angry just because I called god a supernatural force.  God doesn't change anyone, belief in god does whether he exists or not is irrelevant to that point.

I almost gave up and didn't come back because of you. Now I'm glad I did. But thanks for the first impression of all christians being synical jerks (which my opinion has now changed thanks to others), its not exactly fun to talk about this sort of personal thing.

Honestly?  Just kill yourself.  You're posting on a Forum about Diablo 2 in the Christian section.    SUICIDE.

You think I'd come on here if I had anywhere else to go? You're a child and don't need to be in here.

Jesus can be your savior and Lord!

To put your trust in God, you must be willing to wholeheartedly begin to put Him in charge of your life and follow Him.

The "good news" at it's basis is how to be reunited to God and enter His kingdom. A kingdom has a king!

God cannot save you from things, you will not let Him lead you out of.

Pray for that, follow Him despite yourself and let Him have the chance to demonstrate, He knows you.

That's exactly what I've been told though. It's like there's just something everyone else is grasping that I can't.
I don't know what's wrong with me, I have nothing to live for anymore, no direction and no reason not to. Why can't I?

You have heard the Bible and you realize you need a savior but you are approaching it the wrong way. To be a Christian you much put your faith in Christ knowing that He is the only one who can help you change. Ask him into your life to help change and save you. God hears all your prayers and requests. Once you become a Christian you must strive to be like Christ. Good works and such won't get you to heaven but you will notice that once you become a Christian the Holy Spirit will burden you with guilt when you are doing wrong. Hope this helps you and I hope you accept Jesus as your Savior.

Again this is what I've been told. It doesn't seem to work for me.

you seem to be looking for someone or something to make you happy.. this is not easy

a more easy thing is to get to love yourself..

if you dont like what you see in the mirror then it can be hard to do anything good..

if you got any question or want to talk about it

just pm me and everything you say will remain with me alone

let me start by saying right off that I am in no way making fun, trolling, or anything of the sort
this is an earnest question

They say all you have to do is put your trust in God.
I've heard the story over and over, I've tried many many times, and yet today I'm more evil than ever before. Evil is the word. I'm full of TRASH. My insides are putrid rotting filth. I need a savior.
But it kind of feels like he doesn't want me, because I've prayed and asked many times but got nothing out of it.
So what am I doing wrong?

This is simple yet difficult to understand because it takes a change of life. God will not change your life for you. You need to find a Church of Christ and be taught the Bible way and not the doctrine of men. Your first step on the path to salvation is developing faith. How do you develop faith? Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." You need to hear the word of God preached to you and from a gospel preacher from the Church of Christ. After hearing the word you then need to believe what you hear. Mark 16:16 says, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." After this you need to repent. Repent is a changing of lifestyle, turning away from sin and not sinning willfully. Acts 2:38 says, "Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." You need to confess Christ before men. Matthew 10:32 says, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." Next you need to be baptized for the remission of your sins as it is clearly taught in the scriptures. Listen to all these examples of baptism for the remission of sin.

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Peter 3:20-21
(20) Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
(21) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Acts 8:38-39
(38) And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
(39) And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Always remember here, you have to believe fiirst, without believing there is no need to get baptized, that is why God never mentions it. "please people do not start this dumb arguement again"

Matt 28:19-20
(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 10:48
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 7: 13-15 says, "13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

God says this because many will tell you all you need to do is believe and you are saved, or all you need is faith and you are saved. You need to obey all of God's commands to be saved. This appears to be the easy way out. There is no easy way.

There will be some who say I am wrong. That is their choice. You must make yours. You need to become a child of God before he will hear your prayers. <3

Listen Chris, I feel for your situation. I want to offer you hope that Jesus can save you! It may not happen right when you first start seeking him, but continue to search for answers in the bible and through prayer and eventually you will be at a place where you will accept Jesus into your life with all your heart. Don't listen to KissofDeath, listen to the bible. Find a church that preaches the bible! I dont recommend a church of christ, but unlike him i am not going to tell you where to go. The bible says
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Work towards that daily! It is easy to declare with your mouth, but to completely believe it with your heart is the hard part.
Your best bet right now is to find someone who consistently seeks God daily and ask them questions. Maybe a pastor at a local church, maybe someone you know, i dont know.
Let me know if you have any more questions, i hope this helps!

God will only save His church. If you do not belong to His church you will not be saved. The bible clearly teaches this, it does not come from me.

Church of Christ is not a denomination. Denominational churches were created by man. I don't have enough time to explain it all now but will when I get home from work.
