I like to ask people the question, If your christian son came in the house and said "Im leaving and i never want to hear from you again" or If your non christian son came in and said "Dad/Mom i dont think i believe in God anymore".

Which one would make you more upset? Knowing your time on earth with him is limited but your time in heaven with him is eternal?

If you don't save the non-christian, you can not call yourself a christian, at all. You are disgracing Jesus' philosophy, and therefore not a christian.

Actually not in the slightest. When Jesus was dying on the cross God did not want him to do it. He couldnt stand to see his son in that much pain and suffering. Job was an amazing christian and id say one of the few who would save a Christian. He has a chapter in the Bible dedicated to him.

First instinct would be to save the person you love obviously. If you save the christian, you know good things will result; he/she will share testimony and be fruitful.

If you save the athiest, there is still a chance he/she will remain an athiest and not produce any crop.

So either decision would be risky.
