Having faith in God means you believe and trust everything that He (both Father and Jesus) said.

In Psalm 90:2, Moses is recorded as writing "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God<" (KJV, emphasis mine - jtc).

"From everlasting" means God had no beginning; "to everlasting" means God has no end. Speaking of God in Psalm 93:2, David said "thou art from everlasting", meaning God had no origin. In Psalm 102:27, David writes "But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end" (KJV), a reference to the never ending nature of God.

John the apostle described Jesus in Revelation 1:4 as "him who is and who was, and who is to come." That same description is found in verse 8 of the same chapter. The Hebrew writer said "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (NKJV, Hebrews 13:8).

Jesus said of himself in John 8:58, "before Abraham was, I AM." He claimed deity for Himself by claiming an eternal nature. "I AM" is the equivalent to saying, I have always existed and will always exist." The Jews in that audience understood what He meant, that is why they tried to kill Him (John 8:59).

An eternal God is the only logical explanation for the existence of the universe. The universe cannot be eternal, neither could it create itself out of nothing. Even the ridiculous "Big Bang" theory requires the existence of matter and a force to make it happen. Therefore, the only rational, logical explanation for existence is God.

Imagine if everyone were like that?

I mean, if we just accepted what was written thousands of years ago without a single question raised then how could we ever split the atoms today?

Imagine a world where doctors would pray every time a patient came in with a 4 inch laceration to their necks. "oh lord please help this poor soul".

Then god would come down from the heavens and save the life of the poor dying man and life would be so beautiful and gay (don't take this word wrong look it up it means happy)

I really wish i had the courage to walk so blindly and arrogantly on this earth thinking i have all the answers to life and causing war every where i praised said answers.

it should be obvious to u that everything was made by god. there is no other way for anything to create itself from nothing. watch kent hovind on google video or youtube and you'll understand some of the things better. i dont see how religion kills people since the commandments in the main religions of the world are all pretty much the same, so by following the religion i dont see how u can kill anyone. you are very confused.
