So wait, are you insinuating that the current unbelievers will take part in the end? And what happened these last few days, I haven't been reading up on my Christianity Daily. I did, however, hear about how the Pope, or someone, sent out some sort of message to the other churches telling them to hide information they had about children or something? Sounded sinful to me, anyway. If you have any information regarding the date of the apocalypse, please do share. I'm sure the unbelievers, which isn't a really accurate term as the prefix "un" implies that they once believed (myself I prefer non-believer), would like to know when they will die. Is it on 2012 like when the Mayan Calendar resets? Because that would be CRAZY wouldn't it? Those polytheistic ancient civilizations being able to predict when your Christ will return.

But anyway, let me know, I love conspiracy theories.

Yeah, Catholicism and Christianity are opposites.

Us Christians have nothing to do with the Catholic church.

By the way, what I was saying is that aren't you finding it hard to endure, like you can't go on for much longer. Outbursts of anger in private, etc...?

Are you happy? Are you satisfied? Will you ever be satisfied?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Catholicism not just the broad category, then Christianity is a branch off of it?
How are they opposites? You believe in god, you believe in Jesus, sounds the same to me.

And I'm quite happy with my life. I know a lot of Christians, most of my family is Christian, and I'm much better off in life than they are (drugs, school, general morality).

Catholicism is a religion. They pray to mary, bow to idols, and confess to a man. Things that Jesus warned against.

True followers of Christ are different.

the study is correct. faith is a brainwave pattern, and its prescense neccesitates more grey matter as opposed to its abscense. you gotta have enough space in the cup to fit all the water.

even if this was true... who cares, i didnt become a christian to have more glucose activity in my brain

glucose activity = belief. If it goes down you get depression and start doubting everything god etc. If its up it feels like the angels are flying around your head and you find a deeper and more profound understanding (most likely imagination) in all simple things. Take a potent dopamine agonist and you won't belief in anything anymore with the exception of nihilism.

If I stand up too fast it feels like little naked babies with wings are flying around my head, does that mean I have belief?

This isn't how brains work. More grey matter (bigger brains) doesn't mean more brain power. Furthermore, no one has posted any study, so how can you take it seriously without even looking at least at the methods used? If you're going to take this random guy's word on faith alone, then you've more than made up for your "increased grey matter" that you're using for your faith.

glucose activity = belief

Glucose activity = any conscious thought at all.

I think about stuff like this all the time, and I usually come to the conclusion that Atheists, or Agnostics, are generally smarter than those that worship deities. The smartest people in the world, scientists such as Charles Darwin, all have abandoned religion because they have found better explanations for everything. All the people I know who are of a greater intelligence than the average person generally are Agnostic, as many people are afraid of the word "Atheist" and will never willingly admit that they have atheistic feelings or beliefs. But yeah, if Christians are smarter, how does that explain the increasing number of people fleeing deistic religions to join the people who lead the world in technology and information?

bolded are subjective. Spiritual intelligence>physical intelligence imo.
