Because rich people are greedy. Bible even says that a camel has a better chance going through an eye of a needle than a rich man get to enter The Kingdom of God.

Ask any rich man to give up all his money and possessions to the poor; he won't even hesitate to say no

Becoming rich means putting money before God and that's something I shouldn't be doing

I wanna be a bilionaire so freaking bad.

money is a provision from God, we are only stewards. so its not really ur money.

we are all sinners drawn to the desires of our flesh (greed,lust,idolatry etc.) its good that u are consious of this so u can be more aware of when u need to repent and pray for strength

just remember that money is temporal and will be gone very soon, but fellowship with the Living God is eternal

I went to an apologetics conference last year and Norm Geisler was there, he said something that really stuck with me

"rich people have everything to live with and nothing to live for"

If ur living for money your not really living

isnt it funny all the things that are supposedly "bad"
feel soo good

the root of your problem, just like all the things we struggle with, is our relationship with the lord. dont try and forget about money, instead pursue the lord harder, through prayer and reading the word of God. As you grow closer to God you will see your love of money decreasing.
