GEN 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
GOD is Good and as such man and woman being created in his own image would also be good up to the point of orig sin

But he doesn't actually say it, it is simply implied that if we were to equal God in goodness and God is good, we would be good. Can't deny that.
But it is not said.
Why?

I cannot answer that question for you your gonna have too take that one up with God im sure he would be happy to let you know

if i had to take a guess i would say it may have something to do with orig sin and he knew we were going to sin and therefore were not "GOOD" but were free willed
God did not want worship or praise from a bunch of robots which is why he put the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden and gave us the choice to live happily ever after
it was our choice to be not good imo

So you're saying that God deliberately created something that's not good. How does that stroke with "God is great", since he does harm -indirectly or not-?
And don't ask your pastor. I'm not all into that church-folks at the moment. They've been doing some serious sinning for themselves.

I cannot contact God, for if I had the oppurtunity to meet God, I would have been cleansed of every flaw I had including curiosity and egoism, for it is egoism to desire knowledge

and im not sure what the "Church-folks" where you are are like but they are just normal people where im from :-)
also anyone can contact God you don't have to use a priest or do anything special just talk to him "then listen" and he will answer

Incest was cool back then. Everyone was doing it (literally).

We have the choice of whether or not to be good. That's why we were given free will. The life we live as people now will determine our lives that are to be. You can choose to be wicked and disobey God now, suffering an eternity without God, or choose to walk with the Lord and be with him for the rest of eternity. Nothing in this life is perfect, because this world is an imperfect existence and it is temporary. Unfortunately people have difficulty with this, hence the scripture that say's "having eyes, they saw not, and having ears, they heard not" or however the scripture goes (it's been a while since I've read it so I'm really just paraphrasing). Peope dwell on the "here and now" and lose sight of what is to come.

The bible doesn't say that only Adam and Eve were created, it simply states that God created them. Who knows who God created immediately after? There were giants that roamed the land, but the bible doesn't tell us exactly when God created them either.
