the bible does not prove anything.

with proof there is no faith.

the bible teaches the importance of faith.

science teaches the importance of proof.

both are important and with an open mind one can see how they compliment each other beautifully.

unfortunately to mistake something from the bibles as proving something, you are missing the point of religion. furthermore this distinction is key if you ever wish to have an intelligent debate with someone.
