Biblically, yes, but I've never been to a congregation who would week-in, week-out mention abstinence for unmarried heterosexuals, and I've never once heard a preacher decry people who remarry after a divorce. Not once, and I've frequented Catholic, Baptist, and non-denominational churches, while attending once each a Presbyterian and Lutheran church. Virtually no one treats these sins equally except God.

That's a big problem that should be addressed.

In what sense, do you think? Would you prefer that all be decried equally or would you prefer that a preacher not speak out on any of them, and let God determine it?

Homosexuality is a sin. Plain and simple. There is no way around it. Repent and ask God for peace and direction.

But it never will be, because people are comfortable with the status quo.

It's not that one sin isn't worse than another - it's that they all make us fall short of the glory of God. Yes, murder is worse than some other sins, but it has the same eternal consequence - the worst consequence that all sins receive if they go unrepented. I think preachers should decry all sins just as the Bible does. The Bible is God-breathed, so if a preacher is preaching a watered down faith he is not doing his job of spreading God's word very well.
