Suicide is a sin. Sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Quote
For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence. 25Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Christ died once for all, your past, present, and future sins. If I get in a car crash and scream "Oh &^*%" 2 seconds before I die ( leaving no time to repent), I am not going to Hell.
Do we trust in ourselves to stand firm till the end ? Or do we trust in Jesus Christ's work on the Cross and His Holy Spirit regenerating us and sanctifying us to keep us firm till the end.
My brothers there exists biological/physical and spiritual causes of depression. Why should the boy who is overcome by despair be any different by a man overcome by a gang of robbers on the street ? Whose death is more tragic ? Enough with this self righteous talk of if you are godly you will not suffer from despair, or doubt at different points of your life. Did not John the Baptist " The greatest man born of a woman" doubt Jesus while he was in prison ?
