would just like to point out that there are somewhere around 10 different words for "day" in the greek language, many of which are symbolic of a duration of time not specified, but the one used in Genesis is "yam" which literally means 1 full rotation of the earth, or 1 of what would have been considered a day at that time (i dont say 24 hours because the earth was slightly farther away from the sun and had a slightly different tilt of its axis so it wasnt exactly 24 hours at creation, or so i believe)

I believe it is in the book of enoch(a book that wasnt in the bible there are a lot if these) that it is explained(suggested) that cain had children with one of his sisters as did all the children of adam and eve(incest). But since i am no expert on Christianity nor am i a christian my suggestion is you ask a priest at your church.

Fun Fact: Eve wasnt the first woman, Lilith(not positive on the name) was.

Actually, In the Bible it doesn't say God made no more people from dust except for Adam and Eve, they were just the first, and the tone of genesis means that Adam and Eve were in the garden for quite a while. That is the most reasonable thinking.

the bible doesnt mention alot of people because, quite frankly, theyre unimportant. you must also remember that during the period and time that this was written down, women played a small role in life and were generally dismissed. this is why adam and eves daughters arnt mentioned in the bible. does anyone know how many kids they actually had (if its mentioned at all?) cus i dont know and am sort of curious to find out
and if you seriously think the creation story is the most important part of the bible then you need to read this little chunk at the end called the new testament. tbh i dont think the creation is very important at all.

remember adam lived to be almost 1000 years old he had plenty of time to make lots of kids

Adam and Eve were like 900 when they died so they had plenty of time to make more babies.

900 years is along time to fill a nation.

just think
in 900 years they could of had like 900 kids
900 kids could of had countless more

so if cain was around say...500 years old there would have already been thousands of people on the earth.
