With all due respect, it doesnt seem that clear to me.

I'm not a debator, manure stirrer, or a great scholar. However, I feel that there are different rewards in heaven. Not everyone will receive the same reward when they get there. Perhaps "will take away from his share" could mean a lesser reward.

I dont know, just a thought.

I dont believe thats what it says, because then that would mean that the sins in your life prior to being saved could have an impact on your heavenly experience, my belief is that when we go to heaven we will spend eternity worshiping God in the fellowship of other souls who have been given the gift of eternal life.

The sins in your life prior to being saved are washed after and thrown into a sea of forgetfullness. I agree fully with the second portion of your statement.

Make it a good day.

I'm atheist but lets say for the sake of arguement that i'm wrong and there is an after life i think all you would need is to have been a good person, if there is a god he should be able to see that that is all that really matters

Therein lies your mistake (and it is a common one). It's not by your standard of good or bad that you are judged, but by his.

And His standards for "good" are based, apparently, on whether or not you believe in Him and praise Him?
I'm not trying to start a heated debate, this is an honest question.

The bible is pretty clear on the acceptable and unacceptable behaviors of mankind. If you're genuinely interested in your question, I would strongly encourage a read-through of it.

You mention behaviors, however, don't some prescribe to the belief that one is saved solely by faith?
If this is the case, or even if faith is merely one requirement for salvation, then no matter how well a person behaves, even by the standards the Bible has set forth regarding "behavior," that individual will spend an eternity in Hell?

While your sins can be forgiven (because we all sin), intentionally living a life of sin, with the intention of "fake repenting" later obviously is fallacious. The battle against sin is one that is faced throughout your life, and never an easy one. Again, if you're truly curious in this, take the time and read the Bible. After you've done that, I'd love to have a conversation with you about it.

I'm sure you've been asked for, but what sect of Christianity do you follow? I'm also pretty sure you're aware that there is one sin that is unforgivable, and that's speaking against the holy spirit.
