I may be a Christian but I do believe in Karma nonetheless, even if it is Buddhist.

Is it?

Galatians 6:7-8 (King James Version)

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Matthew 22:36-40 (King James Version)

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 5:44 (King James Version) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 7:12 (King James Version) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

What does this have to do with me believing in karma? It is evident in itself. If you treat others badly then other people who notice it will avoid you or treat you badly as well. I've also noticed that usually when I do something bad to somebody else I usually pay for it by screwing up something or getting cut through accidents.

I may upset somebody else and get away with it then and there but later on that day I may slip over and hurt myself a few hours later. I call that karma because it usually happens after I do something bad (Not all the time but most of the time it does).

But when you say you believe in karma, then you are shunning Grace, the pivotal component in our salvation!

Karma and Christianity are not compatible due to their contraditions, however God is just and provides for us when we do well, and teaches us (often through forceful or sometimes even unpleasant corrections) when we do wrong. That is by no means karma, it is rewarding, educating, and correcting.

What is there to learn from if I was unlucky enough to trip over something and fall down and hurt myself? Where is the reward, education and/or correction in that?

God creating evil is perfectly consistent with a omnipotent omiscient omnipresent god. If there is such a God, then EVERYTHING must be under his control. Even evil

I can't believe that you people are so blind. I guess that we have to drop down to grade 2 equivalent level of study.

Let's replace the word evil with sin.

Now lets go back to the Garden where it all went wrong.

All we had to do was listen to God the father because he knew what was best for us, he let us have a choice.

We CHOSE to not listen to him, we thought we 'knew better than God.'

As a result the fall happened.

Us men chose to sin against God, we screwed everything up not God.

It was WE who brought sin into this world and the only way we can be free of sin is if we accept the Lord your God back into your hearts.

Once we do that we will be able to have eternal life with the Creator of the Universe from here on in!

From that you can conclude that, that is wonderful news indeed!

What translation are you using?

This might be an easier translation to understand:

Basically He's saying He will reward us with good times when we behave, and will punish us when we don't behave.

At least that's how I understand it.
