If there's a thread not getting enough love on the front page because of one of these threads, bump that shit. But bitching in this thread actually keeps it bumped.

So since you don't believe in God and these theads seem to offend your delicate sensibilities perhaps you should just do as Sioux suggested and refrain from clicking on them. Or do you feel the need to constantly air your unhappiness because you want to try to bring others down to your level? I'm sorry for you. Sorry that you can't see past your own opinions long enough to see someone else's. You're ok with spewing your thoughts and opinions but Heaven help the one who feels they have the same right to air their opinions or feelings when they conflict with yours. Do you apply the same double standard to those in your life outside of PaRD?

It's evident that mods are expressing favoritism because these threads are nothing but spam. It's even worse since the OP actually thinks that he's doing something productive with these threads.

I think it's such a double standard that this is ok, if I were to post the equivalent type of threads every day you'd better believe I'd get shut down in a second.

It's about spam and principle really.

If this is ok then shall I post "Atheist Word Of The Day" threads? Sure, I could. But I won't because I'm aware that it's spam and doesn't contribute to anything. Plus, they would get shut down because the mods in this sub-forum practice favoritism.

Also, it drives me crazy that there are some legitmate threads that end up getting closed but these remain open.

Why don't you try it? Its easy to speculate but I doubt the mods would say anything. Although is there a need for an atheist word of the day? Is atheism that crucial a portion of your life that you ruminate on your lack of faith on a daily basis?
