Being off topic is spam. If the topic was 'discuss what you think about religion' then you wouldn't be spamming. But considering the topic is 'post encouraging scripture' and you're promoting your personal beliefs that are neither encouraging or scripture. Then yes, you are spamming.

I've seen that quote in a religious context. Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade. It was the last puzzle he had to solve before he could reach the holy grail. Salvation by faith is a defining of Christianity so I see some relevance.

Essentially, if you're promiscuous, God will jealously (I'm surprised it actually says his jealous anger) destroy you.
