SI'm preparing a presentation about ''The American Dream''
And one of my annexes is this picture.
''One Nation Under God''

So far I got theese points:
Jesus wears gold robes, because he's valuable.
Jesus is holding the Declaration of Independence, suggesting that USA is God's chosen country.
Everybody is facing towards Jesus, suggesting he's superior.
I can see some presidents, but I can't identify them.
I can see the white house, and Stars And Stripes
Also I don't know why some of the people are crying.

What else is there to say about this picture?

Thanks in advance
Regards

I guess mafai and Accurate won't contribute to "Feed the World" cause Jesus doesn't care about starving kids in Africa

these guys think that Jesus would rather buy a cheeseburger to contribute to the american economy

is the same like aliens only landing in USA and attacking only the USA

Some of the people are probably crying because once Jesus got there or they realized he was there, they were regretful for their wrong doings and wanted to repent.

@ the first bold, do you realize how superficial and conceded that sounds? Do you actually think that Jesus would only choose one country?

I dont usually post here because its a place for blah blah whatever, but when i see stuff like that i have to speak up..

If this is just you trying to interpret someone elses work and these are not your own opinions then you can disregard my post.

One major thing to mention is thats not Jesus for one... 1 Corinthians 11:14 (I doubt Jesus had long hair), Also Isaiah 53:2 (is talking about Jesus), Luke 4:30; John 8:59 (Which suggested he look like an average person during that time). Another thing is nobody knows what Jesus looked like, it doesn't matter what he looked like anyway we are obsessed with this idea of possession, Jesus had 12 disciples if his description was important somebody would've mentioned it. Also this has nothing to do with specification of a specific country read John 3:16-17 *FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD* not (For God so loved America) John 3:17 God sent not his son into the *WORLD* to condemn the *WORLD*; but that the *WORLD* through Him might be saved.

Jesus wasn't white... and there is no physical evidence are any evidence of that matter what his appearance looked like other than he was an Israelite with tan skin just like everybody else over there during that time
