Satan isn't the only one attacking us; don't forget that 1/3 (I think? Don't quote me) of the angels followed him in his rebellion against God and are working for him.
Read the Epistles (particularly James, Peter, and Ephesians) and Matthew 7 (the temptation of Jesus) for help in dealing with Satan's attacks.

** That might be Matthew 5, not 7. I'm not 100% sure as I haven't been there for a while.
My point is we shift the blame too much. We don't take responsibility for our actions and instead want to blame things on Satan.
James 1:13-15
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
