My cover of Amazing Love.

Wow! Nice job and that's a great song. ^_^
Would like to see more songs. :)

I also play acoustic guitar and just wondering, what strumming pattern did you use and this might be a dumb question, but is your mic hooked up to your computer's speaker or just a speaker/amp thing?

Well I looked up a bunch of tabs for the song but I didn't like any of them, so I took the basic idea of a couple of tabs and made my own for the song.

The chords I used are C, F, Am, and G (forms)
Those are the forms. I have my capo on fret 3 so I could sing a key im better at.

You can actually see my mic inthe video. It's the silver thing in front of me.
I recorded the song using Cubase 5 and recorded the video using my logitech webcam and then merged the audio file with the video file using a video editting software.
My mic is hooked up to my Presonus Firestudio Project audio interface which is in turn hooked up to my computer via Firewire.
I did this because I wanted the superior sound quality compared to just a webcam mic quality sound.

The mic I used is a Sterling Audio ST66 tube mic. I bought it for $400.

Cool, thanks. I'm kind of looking into this type of stuff for later on if I get into singing.

Keep up the good work! I always like to see people playing these types of songs on an acoustic guitar, after all, what could be better to sing about than Praising God? b)

Not bad, you kind of sound like the lead singer of The Mountain Goats.

Sounds pretty good. :) Why so much reverb? It would probably sound even better without it. :)

ya I couldn't even hear how much reverb it had until i uploaded and noticed it.

I could remove it and upload a new on but it was such a pain to get the audio and video tracks lined up im not sure that I wanna do it again lol
