I see certain " Christians " who question who Moses was. Even people like job. And atheists who know everything about the Bible, but just choose not to believe it.

My questing is, I'm often insulted by these christians who say they believe in God, but don't take the time to know who He is, but is this bad

I don't call them Christians.

Kinda like If I were to call my self a baseball player but don't even know what a bat is used for.

When we look at the life of Jesus, we see that he was actually more concerned with rebuking the "religious" scribes and pharisees who would twist the gospel message than the actual unbelievers.

In fact, the unbelievers had a better chance at being saved because they weren't tied up in "religious" traditions & practices.

It was those who would twist the word of God that were the biggest offense.

See there is a man I know who ( to me ) is the strongest Christian I know. We talk multiple hours a day about the bible, religion etc. He Refuses to accept the likeness of other gods before Jesus with the same characteristics as Jesus. He also believes every single other religion ( including Mormons ) are going to hell. I cannot accept this either.

It's not our place to judge but what it boils down to

Do they follow the gospel?
Have they been baptized for the remission of sins?

Those questions themselves answer whether or not they go to heaven.

Good luck.

In life you will realize it is not about how we feel or what we want or think. It's about God.
He set forth guidelines for us to follow and if we do not, we will not be in Heaven with him when all is said and done.

Jesus said:

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

What matters is weather they except Jesus as their Savior and forgiver of their sins, if they choose to not except that before they die, then they are going to hell.

Just accepting Jesus as lord and Savior is not enough. It tells us in order to wash away our sins we must be baptized.

jews are saved.
but there is a verse in galations that strictly prohibits further 'gospels' than the ones they already had (which completely discredits the book of mormon in the eyes of a christian)

also what do you mean by the bolded?

this is a pretty huge rift in the christian faith. there is no verse that says baptism must occur to be saved. there are verses where jesus tells his disciples to baptize people, and that baptism is a practice that should be upheld, but not that it is required for salvation
baptists believe it is require for salvation, i (as a christian) do not

no. if you 'truly' accepted jesus then you wouldnt dgaf and sin without a care in the world.
just like your baseball analogy
you can call yourself a baseball player, doesnt make it true.
you can say you accept christ as your savior, doesnt make it true
