This.

Also, when Moses asks Him on the mountain, he replies: "I AM"

Was, is, and is to come.

The above post by UncleMuscles is a good one. There are several names given to God in the New Testament, including Yahweh, Elohim, and Jehovah. There are also compound names of God such as Jehovah-Nissi that reveal particular characteristics of God.

To more fully answer your question, his name is JESUS! Jesus is the Greek version of the Hebrew name Joshua, which means Jehovah-Savior or "Jehovah is Salvation." In other words, the name Jesus sums up all the names of God in the Old Testament!

this...

the divine name is a verb, the causative form, the imperfect state, of the Hebrew verb hawah, which means "to become". therefore, the divine name means something like "he causes to become". the name appears 6,828 times in the old testament, starting with Genesis 2:4. (appendix, NWT)

the Hebrew for "LORD" (YHWH) sounds like and may be derived from the Hebrew for I AM in Exodus 3:14. (NIV footnote)
