Not so much the end of time, as the coming events will mainly affect this Solar System. The galaxy itself barely even feels it. In fact, this rock we call Earth will still be here, but it will be in pretty rough shape, with all life destroyed on it. All of the planets in this "Solar System" will be tossed around a bit.
We are approach what the Mayans referred to as the end of the fifth sun.
The bible talks about how the elements will be melted away with fervent heat, and how all life will be destroyed. But some will be saved alive.
End of time, end of age - whichever you want to call it. Yea, I read somewhere that the heat will be from the earths core; it will destroy the earth. The people who go to "heaven" will live on the renewed earth.

2012 AW NOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I predict this. World will end 2012, but people won't expect Jesus to show. They'll all think its the maya calender prediction.

Jesus didn't predict these specific warnings. The Bible makes vague prophecies with regards to the End Times. They were so vague, in fact, that people were expecting the Second Coming since the year Jesus was crucified.
You and every Christian ever. No one wants to die, even those who think they're sure they have an afterlife awaiting them.
Specific enough. We will know when the time is NEAR - I never said the exact time. And like Jesus said, he'll come like a thief. If everyone was expecting him to return a year after the crucifixion, surely he wouldn't come (although he did return to a few).
Read Matthew 24.
