So I'm not religious, I'm not anti-religion... but i wasn't raised in a religious family and I've never been to church.
I don't hide it, I'm open about my beliefs, however, I never claim anyone to be wrong about theirs...
My question is, Why is it every time I admit I've never been to church and that I am not religious do christians get offended... They take it as a sleight against god and their religion.
I NEVER get offended when people push their beliefs on me, I NEVER try to disprove people's religious beliefs... but whenever I admit to a christian that I am not religious they take offense.
Am I just meeting the wrong people, or is it in the bible that if someone does not believe in god that, as a good christian, you should try to change their beliefs?
this is a serious question, please no spam.
almost anyone would
hell, look at islam, if you told them you didn't take part in their religion (which i dont beleive a relationship with Christ IS a religion but that's beside the point) they'll lop your head off
but you could also be taking concern to be offense. We know the truth, and we feel for those who are lost
