So before I ask this question, I just want to say that I am saved and I fully trust in God and i know that He knows what's best.
But I have been wondering one thing, and i have been asked this many times by many non-believers: since God knows everything,
shouldn't he have known that Lucifer would defy him and that he would tempt Eve and that it would eventually all lead to how the word
is now? Why did he even make Lucifer in the first place? I know there is an answer, I'm just searching for it.

And again, I am not trying to test God in any manner because I have given myself to Jesus and I trust in God 100%. Kinda just want to help some non-
believers out, and answer this question for them, because it seems to be asked a lot by them, and I do not know the answer myself. This may help some non-
believers out to as they read this thread..

Hank Hannegraff answered this question on the bible answer man once.

He (The Lord) knows whats going to happen as in He sees the possible outcomes in the future. Without making the potential outcome for disobedience, there would be no such thing as love.

Lucifer rebelled.

Definitely a good question, I'm going to look into it more.

God did not create Satan. He created an angel. The angel rebelled due to what is implied as pride giving birth to Satan.

Read Spiritual Warfare by EM Bounds. He explains quite a lot about the origin of the enemy from a very in depth study of the word.

Yes i know this. I know that Lucifer was created as an angel, but rebelled against God and was thrown from heaven. But i am not asking about Lucifer. Im asking, why did God make him in the first place,
knowing he would rebel, and cause many of his own children to be decieved and be damned to hell?

You better be cautious Cadizzle, you're on a slippery slope.

If you continue asking questions like this you may start to ask other questions and they'll just continue to build up unanswered until you start to lose your faith.

To answer your question in a very religious manner: Everything is given free will. If you're omniscient and you simply choose not to create anything that does what you don't want then that isn't free will.

If I'm God and I create 10 people and put them on a road with a fork in it and I want them all to choose the left path. Lets say 5 of them go left and 5 of them go right. Why did I create the 5 that went right? Because if I don't create them there is no free will they'd all do exactly what I want.

Yes but if you accept that answer then you also accept that god creates those doomed to an eternity of damnation and suffering. You can call it a choice but God creates them knows exactly what they're going to do then punishes them for it. If you believe everything, body, soul, and mind are created by God then free will is an illusion. You were created a way he knows what you're going to do and you're going to do it.

Maybe you've heard of this book, it's called the Bible. I'm linking you to a website where you can purchase one because you don't appear to own or have read one.

If God intended everyone to do good then everyone would do good. Thats one of the perks of being omnipotent. God doesn't say oops. He intends for everything that happens to happen.
