let me start by saying right off that I am in no way making fun, trolling, or anything of the sort
this is an earnest question

They say all you have to do is put your trust in God.
I've heard the story over and over, I've tried many many times, and yet today I'm more evil than ever before. Evil is the word. I'm full of TRASH. My insides are putrid rotting filth. I need a savior.
But it kind of feels like he doesn't want me, because I've prayed and asked many times but got nothing out of it.
So what am I doing wrong?

Looking for a supernatural force to change you because you're weak and refuse to take responsibility for your life and actions.

Jesus can be your savior and Lord!

To put your trust in God, you must be willing to wholeheartedly begin to put Him in charge of your life and follow Him.

The "good news" at it's basis is how to be reunited to God and enter His kingdom. A kingdom has a king!

God cannot save you from things, you will not let Him lead you out of.

Pray for that, follow Him despite yourself and let Him have the chance to demonstrate, He knows you.

This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

Honestly? Just kill yourself. You're posting on a Forum about Diablo 2 in the Christian section. SUICIDE.

I understand why you said that to Kaiote but why me?

God doesn't change anyone we change ourselves.

Don't get angry just because I called god a supernatural force. God doesn't change anyone, belief in god does whether he exists or not is irrelevant to that point.

You publicly insulted and humiliated someone, who humbled themselves to ask for help.

Any theological and semantic disagreements are mute after that.

You have heard the Bible and you realize you need a savior but you are approaching it the wrong way. To be a Christian you much put your faith in Christ knowing that He is the only one who can help you change. Ask him into your life to help change and save you. God hears all your prayers and requests. Once you become a Christian you must strive to be like Christ. Good works and such won't get you to heaven but you will notice that once you become a Christian the Holy Spirit will burden you with guilt when you are doing wrong. Hope this helps you and I hope you accept Jesus as your Savior.

It takes coming to him with a true and sincere heart. You have to be broken.
