I was eating dinner just now and thought of this hypothetical question:

If you were put into a situation where you could only save one person from a fatal incident - the person you love the most, who is undoubtedly a Christian (for the sake of the question), and another person you hardly know, who is undoubtedly not a Christian, who would you save?

why would it matter if there christian or not?
also a better question would have been a christian you dont know, and a nonchristian you've known your whole life.

I think the point here is, you should save the person who is not saved, so that they might have the chance to find salvation before they actually die permanently.

You already know where the person who is saved is going.

Although, by default, I would save my wife. Thats just me personally.

How about you?

Torm1's statement is true. Plus it also depends on who the other person is.

I don't think you understand the point of the question. It is a moral one, with a decision to make - you are either saving someone who is already eternally saved and damning someone eternally to hell.

Your question isn't better than mine because it misses the point.

I was thinking the same thing. In the moment one would be inclined to save their loved one.

on the sport i would chose the one I cared about. but thinking about it I guess I would chose the other one because they are not saved yet.
