What is to be of our brethren who obviously do not adhere to the same teachings?

Are Jews and Islam damned?

Surely the Father would not want his children to perish? Saving none of them?

Basically the question here is: does Christianity have a monopoly on salvation?

If someone believes that there is a Creator and has righteous deeds how could he possibly be damned for eternity?

If you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God then according to what he says you must do to be saved you must do the following.

1. You must HEAR the message of the gospel (Romans 10:17).

2. You must BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John 8:24 and Mark 16:16)

3. You must REPENT of your sins (Luke 13:2 and Acts 17:30).

4. You must CONFESS with your mouth your faith in Christ (Acts 8:37 and Romans 10:9-10).

5. You must be BABTIZED into Christ for the remission of sins (Romans 16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4 and 1 Peter 3:21).

6 Finally, you must live a FAITHFUL Christian life of continuous service in the church of the Lord (Acts2:47; 1 Corinthians 4:2; 15:58; 2 Timothy 2:2; Hebrews 10:23-25 and Revalation 2:10).

Of course if you hear "or read" and don't believe then nothing else matters anyway.

Having taken all this into consideration do you think Christianity has a monopoly on salvation?

Its all about Jesus, the gospel is being preached to all the world for a witness unto all nations..

Islam was created by Muhammad in 600ad (600 years after Jesus) as an attempt to discredit the Christ as just another "prophet"

In Judaism, no one has ever been able to keep the law of God, it just shows how much we are in need of a savior. Even in the Old Tesament times, people were saved by grace ('Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness")
The Bible does talk about many Jews coming to Christ just prior to the end of the world.

Jesus was sent to this planet as a permanent reconciliation to the Father.

"I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Me." -Jesus

I already understand that this is the common ground, I'm a Christian myself.

My question is what about people who are good, try be good, believe in God, but not Jesus? It does not seem right to me that such good people are doomed for eternity.

I know a lot of "good" people but if they do not believe that Jesus is the son of God then they have no hope of eternal life. John 8:24 says, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."

Even if you believe there are still other steps that must be taken as mentioned above.

Yep, this is true. Humans are born in sin.

God doesn't specifically send someone to hell, they already go there automatically.
