I read this study today in which a mri and functional mri scan was done on christians and an atheist control group.

Christians had more grey matter and more efficient glucose activity within their brains.

Why is that? Is it faith that works as a mind steroid?

I think about stuff like this all the time, and I usually come to the conclusion that Atheists, or Agnostics, are generally smarter than those that worship deities. The smartest people in the world, scientists such as Charles Darwin, all have abandoned religion because they have found better explanations for everything. All the people I know who are of a greater intelligence than the average person generally are Agnostic, as many people are afraid of the word "Atheist" and will never willingly admit that they have atheistic feelings or beliefs. But yeah, if Christians are smarter, how does that explain the increasing number of people fleeing deistic religions to join the people who lead the world in technology and information?

Those who aren't in Christ are getting angrier in these last days, and if they don't change soon, they won't be able to endure to the end.

The outbursts of anger of unbelievers in their cars, etc... Is getting quite intense, its a wonder they've made it this long.
