The battle for a Christian is to live in the spirit and not the flesh . If certain music deters you from this pursuit it certainly falls short of the perfect mark that is God .

True, you can hear the spirit of the world in non-christian music. The spirit of the world is in direct opposition to the Lord, people like Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga are actually members of Satan's new world order, and some of them don't even know it. The symbolism is in all thier songs

Same with "ALL" mainstream movies that come out in theatres, just watch them with discernment and you will see what I mean about how they all promote a view that is opposite of Christ. We who are saved can't be changed, but they are indoctrinating the unbelieving world further and hardening their hearts.
