So im very paranoid about dying and freak out everytime i think deeply of it. So i'm desperatly trying to find evidence that there is something else after death. I was watching this video

And someone commented saying, how would this guy know if he didn't have his brain. That made me begin to think about science and its not possible....

Overall i'm scared. I'm scared not only for death but i'm a teenager and i want to drink and smoke and have a good time but im so afraid of going to hell even if there is a God.

My stomach churns with the thought of death.

To be a Christian, is to take Jesus Christ as your savior and accept Him into your life. When you take God into your life, you no longer live for yourself, but instead, for Him. I use to party and lead a sinful life, like you describe. However, I just recently accepted God into my heart/life and He has helped me change my life. He has shown me how to live a righteous and holy life, in His name, and I couldn't be happier. There are many proofs to the existence of God, but it is FAITH that takes those existing truths and completes the loop.

Well there is no real proof of life after death, just as there is no real proof of a spirit or a soul. Scientifically, the brain, our organ of consciousness, ceases to work upon death. I believe death is like dreamless sleep... you're not there anymore and you're not conscious of anything; literally oblivion or nothingness.

I think it takes strength to accept that death is oblivion, whereas weakness relies upon unproven and faith based ideas to release it from accepting the truth of death.

When someone has a near-death, near-major injury experience, death stares them in the face and grabs their heart. Death is a door to Hell. Everyone dies but not everyone has to go through that door.
Interesting how people who have near-death experiences gain perspective. Too bad death causes it to be too late.

IMO

You have 1 life.
No reincarnation, afterlife, hell. I think all of that is nonsence, illogical and sometimes even annoys me that so many believe,
however that said, afterlife/heaven etc does make people feel better about themselves and promotes "good behavior" among other positives from a community.

Thats all well and good, but still ^^ lets be serious here.

I would suggest a balance between, being healthy and enjoying yourself. Dont get yourself down thinking of dying or it will hold you back, if you find your thoughts wandering into this place, just remember ^^ "Im young, i will have plenty of time to burden myself with these thoughts later on in life ( by which time you will have a far greater understanding of mortality).

My humble advice, experience but moderate all of those "Recreational Activities" drinking smoking etc

Your too young to burden yourself with those thoughts^^

I see, those that survive a horrible plane crash have a completely new perspective in life. Now what about those who have a completely new perspective in life who HAVEN'T been in that plane crash or a near death experience? That is what Christianity does for you.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober...But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:6, 8)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8)
