Adam and Eve have to sons (Cain and Abel) this i got from genesis

15 But the LORD said to him, "Not so [e] ; if anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16 So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, [f] east of Eden.

17 Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.


Now my question is how did cain managed to get a wife? There were no other ppl except adam, eve, abel and cain.
Cain was banished to the land of Nod or where ever.
How did he score himself a wife?

They had more kids than just Cain and Abel

Oh yes that is after cain and abel.
But he was banished in the land of Nod. Which means a daughter from adam and eve came along and somehow found cain and somehow fell in love, then had kids of their own.
All the while knowing there were no other ppl existed.

I agree actually. I get lost after the part where it says Cain lay with his wife, suggesting that all this time there were other people outside of the Garden. That or the bible has skipped a HUGE chapter in the creation story. The most important part of all.

Well they missed out the most important part of all in the creation story. Why do you think some people believe that Cain and Abel married monkeys? Yes people believe that is how we came about as today. We are the evolution from monkeys.

Now that is like telling a story about whose fault it is but you leave out the part where you came up to the guy and punched him in the face and started the fight. All you do is talk about how the other guy beat you up and make it sound like it was his fault.

Its all up to interpretation. Its possible that Adam and Eve were not really the first humans, but the first humans that had a soul, the thing that seperates us from beast. Perhaps Cain met a woman who had no soul.

Instead of posting a big long class on this...I will just say I agree with this above post. We have learned that there have been many sub-species of bi-ped mamals similar to the homo class. Gods days are not 24 hours like hours. When he populated the earth, none of us where there so he could have made millions of living organisms and a few "moments" later decided to give a select few souls.
