Alright, I saw that there were multiple polls up for this, excited to see it happen! I would suggest maybe having a public prayer request pinned topic, if you don't think there will be too many users taking advantage of it and using it for +1s. The PM system can remain in effect for those that don't want the requests public, but I think it would be great to have a public section too.

Also, maybe an Introduce Yourself pinned topic? Maybe get to know some of the other Christians on the forums.

I feel they should be fairly strict on the spam in this forum, because there is no more of this "I was just browsing and saw the topic, I couldn't help it". If they are in this subforum, then they either came here to post legitimately or to spam. There is really nothing to draw the people to this forum that just enjoy flaming all the people that talk about religion.

This subforum was opened because those "Encouraging Word" threads resulted in endless flaming in the Political/Religious Discussion subforum. It wasn't created to satisfy the demographic, that wouldn't make sense because there are very few people on this website that follow the Christian faith.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be mean or anything. I think this subforum is a good idea.

I'm glad there is a place where you guys can discuss your faith without being bothered(as much as other places).

So why not make a subforum for the Islamic or pagans?

They get a lot more 'bothered' by non-believers than Christians do....
