If im a newbie to PoE, and I want to start playing during poe2 release date, Will there be a wipe?

Or will it benefit me to start playing now.

there is no downside to just playing poe1, the majority of the mechanics aren't going anywhere and will be better tuned imho

might as well learn as much as you can now, it'll take you more than the year left til poe2 drops to learn it all anyways.
