I am currently running Fubguns lightning spear build for deadeyes. Not allowed to post external links here so I can just advise to google "0.2 Lightning Spear/Serpent's Fury Deadeye".

So my question is: My spear stab does really low damage to bosses. I go in with 7 frenzy charges and poke em but doesn't do much at all to their hp.


I cast snipers mark > spear stab to maximize charges > serpents fury.

Serpents fury does quite a lot of damage. But the actual spear stab not really. And from the videos I've watched the spear stab should generate an enormous amount of damage.

My spear stab is sitting at 28k damage.

Anyone know as to why my spear stab is not generating a lot of damage? Have followed the build 100%.

Either the build you are following is wrong or you havent followed it 100%

im not that much into streamers but isnt fubgun that guy that makes builds that look cheap on paper but dont work whatsoever unless you invest heavily into them ?

I solved it. Dumb me had some wrong support gems equipped. Noticed after I double checked it.

Do you know much about this build?

I still have issues gaining frenzy charges at bosses when I poke with spear stab. According to the build you have 35% chance of gaining 7 charges. I poke and poke and poke but sometimes I don't gain anything at all so I can't launch serpents fury.

I have the passive buff giving me charges.

Any clue how to gain charges easily besides poking with spear stab?

I don't know.. I have a pretty budget build gear wise compared to his. My gear only cost me like 5 divs in total whilst his is more like 300 or more.

My budget gear clears everything so easily with lightning spear, no issues at all with anything there. I only struggle to gain charges at bosses to launch the serpents fury.

are u casting sniper's mark on the boss when u are spear stab? thats how u are suppose to generate frenzy charge if u dont have any
u have to crit for it to consume teh mark and grant frenzy charge, so maybe u arent critting often enuf?
the 35% comes from ascendecy to gain max charges if u were to gain 1

Would it be better to use Cast on Critical and have snipers mark being cast automatically?

Yea is more qol while mapping but for bosses, more reliable to self cast

Pretty sure he doesn't use cast on critical cuz he says he rather cast itself. If ur clearing so easily , cast on critical isn't helping much. U can always turn it off before a boss and put snipers mark on Only. Tbh I don't play this build but my huntress has 0 issue gaining frenzy charges with cast on crit on bosses
