Do you guys think it will be the new meta? I know it's typical for games and new content. Even the devs are saying the huntress might want them to look at other classes and see what needs to be improved.

I'm sure AT LEAST half of the community for PoE2 will be playing Huntress lol

thats what ggg does generally, new things are made to be OP so they get ppl to play it, and then "balance" it later

That Tactician, with the 25% main weapon damage apply to allies.

Thats big! Like slowest weapon with biggest damage.
And your minions not even notice its a slow weapon

Was just my thought after seeing the new class. I think it looks dope and really fun to play,- however, I know nerfs are highly likely to be happening. And I don't want to spend hours and hours of farming and speccing my character like I did with CoF sorc when they nerfed that rendering the build useless.

I will wait for a while to see what builds comes along and start playing when they have "balanced" the character

While PoE 1 only ever had one class added (Scion), large build/skill/character changes almost always result in an influx of users navigating to that build/skill/character.

That said, I expect the vast majority to be playing huntress on launch, which is why I am not planning to, as gear will likely be more expensive for huntress builds than other builds.
You're better off choosing another solid class to league start and generate some currency and then do huntress once you have a good in-game bank.

new meta? hard to say when patch notes of nerfs/buffs arent even out

amazon looks good hopefully crit/accuracy node is off base crit and not standalone or its worthless
infusion looks op depending on if they nerf charge generation or not

ritualist looks good 3 rings but ingenuity prob getting nerfed

with that being said ill be making a javazon build with lightning spear on amazon and upload it

3 ring meta, easy mode + 25% super ingenuity (3x rings, 1x amy)
