just installed the game last night. im a lvl 11 witch. and im struggaling....hard
honestly dont know what i need. been watching videos but the info is not yet applicable at such a low level

if your starting out go monk. easy to gear and to play

Buy exalts very cheap. Just run a twink (leveling) build with pillar.
Theres a build variant for any class and will get you to maps for cheap
Search the pillar leveling build online

Just pick up a Pilar of the caged god if ur going melee

Socket it with cold damage and fire dmg. Put some points into stats and u should be able to walk most of campaign pretty easily.

Use quarterstaff skill so u don’t use up mana.

Dont do any of the above, play the game as solo self found on your first playthru and you will appreciate it way more mate!
Trust me on this on. The campaign is the best piece of content right now, end-game is a quick throw-up comparable to a pile of dog shit right now.
Besides, if trade-league is your only experience you'll most likely be a struggling noob in 3 weeks when the economy reset.

campaign is pretty much the only thing you can enjoy in poe2
if you skip that, you are basically left with nothing interesting in the game

i got throug h act 1 just beat the final boss. solo, zero guides, zero trade, denied anyone that tried to party, beat act 1 final boss on the second try.

blown away by the quality, the boss fights. phenominal game as a stand alone single player soulsish feeling game with and mmo arpg behind it if you want to do that. been playing slow reading tool tps about everything i can and the game so far has given me everyppiece of information ive needed without going outside of the game to understand.

playing as a croowd control elemental merc? idk just taking time to look at skills what sounds like it would fit together

this is the best advice and how you should approach the game treat it like a souls like, move slow until your comfortable to start speeding up you have forever to play this like an mmo arpg you only get this first play through to enjoy it for the stand alone rpg that thats here and its up there in fun and quality, cienmaticcs, atmosphere, and experimentation that youll find in any rpg around.

robably over 15 hours played at this point to do act 1 and thats probably 50/50 actually in the world fighting stuff and looking through the menus and learning. i could start a new charater, new class and get through it in a few hours i know whats good i know what to prioritize i understadn the mechanics

It is an amazing game of played this way, unbelievably easy to gut the whole experience by trading tho. 😂
But then again, I wouldn't say that the campaign is something with high re-play value as it stands now tho.
